Sikles Trek is a quiet trail which offers stunning views, but with fewer trekkers and very basic facilities along the trail. This route is a newly-opened trekking destination in the Annapurna region where we will have an opportunity to know about the culture and traditions of the Gurung people. It offers remarkable scenery and views of snow-capped mountains. Along the trek, we will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak. On the route, we will have a wonderful opportunity to experience to experience a Nepali village and the way of living a traditional life in the Himalayan part of Nepal. It is an easier and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Nepal. The sites along the way remain untouched since these trails are not as famous as others in the western region. The trek offers you the breathtaking mountain views and involves a walk through bamboo forest and an ancient trail to the Modi Khola Valley.
The trek begins from the Pokhara which is also known as the City of the Lake. The trek offers an easy walk on the first day of the trek as well as majestic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountains of this route. We have to a chance to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area which is well known as the home of many rare animals and birds and local flora. The trek is a good one for all age groups and is suitable as a family trek as well. The best season for trekking is fromFebruary to May and from September to December.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu there will be a representative from our company to meet you. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, hear additional information about the trip, and have dinner.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (820m,) 6hrs
The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast then will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will travel on the scenic Prithvi highway where we will enjoy short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. After a 6-hours drive, we will reach Pokhara, check in at the hotel, explore all around the valley and spend one overnight.
Day 03: Drive to Bijayapur Khola and Walk to Kalikasthan (1150m) 4hrs
We will drive to Bijayapur Khola where we will have our lunch. We will then walk to Kalikasthan where we will spend one night.
Day 04: Trek to Lama Chaur (910m) 5hrs
This wonderful day we will descend to Lama Chaur. We will have our lunch on the way then after move on towards Lama Chaur where we will spend one night, enjoying the hospitality of a host family of Gurungs.
Day 05: Trek to Sikles (1980m) 6hrs
We will follow a path which is gently uphill for some distance and then gradually becomes steep, crossing to Parju village. We will spend one night in Sikles.
Day 06: Explore Sikles Village
The whole day we will explore all around the wonderful village of Sikles. This village is one of the most beautiful villages in the Annapurna region. We will have an opportunity to know about the culture, tradition, and lifestyle of the Gurung people.
Day 07: Trek to Ghale Gaon (1800m) 6hrs
Ghale Gaon is known as one of the largest villages of Gurung community. The enjoyable walk offers a delightful view of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. We will spend one night in this beautiful Gurung village.
Day 08: Trek to Hyanja (1070m) 6hrs and drive Pokhara
Today is the last day of walking on this wonderful journey where we will walk from Ghale Gaon to Hyanja. We will have our lunch in Hyanja and from there we will drive to Pokhara where we will spend one night.
Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu
We will head back to the Kathmandu Valley on the same route we came. We will have our lunch on the way After reaching Kathmandu, we will check into the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and spend the night in this wonderful valley.
Day 10: Final Departure
We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful time in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
