Nar Phu Valley Trek is a newly opened trekking destination and is a great introduction to the beauty of the Annapurna region and lifestyle of Gurung community. It offers remarkable scenery and views of the eye-catching snow-capped mountain views. While there is no age limit for the trek, it requires good health of the trekkers to complete it. This trekking region lies in the northern part of Pokhara which is a popular trekking destination in Nepal. We will have an opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of the Gurung people. We will pass through lush forests of rhododendron, pine, and oak trees.
Nar Phu Valley Trek passes through several villages along the way with varying ethnicities and diverse geographical attractions including sacred mountains and the highest lake in the world. The remote villages are situated above the tree line and completely cut off during the snowy winter month. The trek offers majestic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and a beautiful forest trail to Ghorepani for sunrise views of the Annapurna ranges from Poon Hill. We have to a chance to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area which is the home of many rare animals and birds. This trek gives you an unforgettable experience of the purest Himalayan environment, beautiful landscapes, and culture influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. The best time for trekking is from March to May and from September to November.

Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu there will be a representative from our company to meet you. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, hear additional information about the trip, and have dinner.
Day 02: Drive to Jagat (1100m) 8-9 hours
The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast then will have our breakfast in the hotel, and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will have a scenic drive on Prithvi highway where we will enjoy short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. After 8 to 9 hours of driving from Kathmandu Valley, we will reach Jagat, check in at the hotel, explore the valley, stay overnight.
Day 03: Trek to Dharapani (1,960m) 7-8 hours
The trail from the Jagat descends until it reaches the river and then continues through the lush forest. We will spend one night in Dharapani.
Day 04: Trek to Koto (2,610m) 5-6 hours
The trail climbs along the Mule through a fir forest and then follows the river for a time among the higher oak and maple trees. On the way, we will have an opportunity to explorea monastery and have some lunch before moving towards Koto where we will spend one night.
Day 05: Trek to Meta (3,560m) 7-8 hours
This day we will walk through the river bank of Soti Khola. We will pass through the lush forest of oak, maple, visit a beautiful village, and have wonderful views of the mountains. We will spend one night in Meta village.
Day 06: Trek to Phu Gaon (4,250m) 7-8 hours
While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountains and beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Phu Gaon where we will spend one night in this wonderful land.
Day 07: Rest Day in Phu Gaon
This day is for the rest day. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast and then after we will explore all around the Phu Valley. We will explore villages and have an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which may help provide the mental stamina for further trekking.
Day 08: Trek to Nar (4,110m) 6-7 hours
We will also through several small villages and a few temples on the way before reaching Nar village where we will spend one night.
Day 09: Rest Day in Nar
This day is another day of rest. We will have breakfast and then explore all around the Nar Valley.
Day 10: Trek to Kang La Pass (5,322m) to Ngwal (3,660m) 7-8 hours
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of a mountain before reaching Kang la pass. After reaching Kang la Pass, we will have our lunch then after we will move towards Ngwal where we will spend overnight.
Day 11: Trek to Manang (3,540m) 4-5 hours
Leaving Ngwal, the trail climbs the steep ridge that affords good views of the Manang valley. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountain. This is the largest district.
Day 12: Trek to Yak Kharka (4,110m) 3-4 hours
From Ngwal, the trail heads towards Yak Kharka where we have to cross a stream, climb to the village of Tenki and continue to climb out of the Marshyangdhi Valley, turning northwest up the valley of Jarsang Khola.
Day 13: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,600m) 3-4 hours
Today we will make our way to the foot of the pass to Thorong Phedi. A short ascent up the mountain path on the river bank we will follow a narrow trail across an unstable scree slope and cross many suspension bridges before reaching Thorong Phedi where we will spend one night.
Day 14: Trek to Muktinath (3,800m) 7-8 hours
This day will have an opportunity to see the magnificent views of the mountain while climbing and crossing the pass. It takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Muktinath where we will spend one night.
Day 15: Trek to Jomsom (2,715m) 5-6 hours
From here, we will trek on the windy trail of Kali Gandaki valley. We will have an opportunity to see caves and meadows, and also reach Kagbeni which is one of the best places on this trek. After walking 5 to 6 hours from Muktinath we will finally reach Jomsom.
Day 16: Drive to Pokhara
After having breakfast, we will drive to the local airport of Jomsom to take a flight to Pokhara which is also known as the Home or City of the Lake. After reaching Pokhara, we will explore all around the valley and spend one night in this beautiful valley.
Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu 5-6 hours
We will head back to Kathmandu Valley and have our lunch on the way. After reaching Kathmandu, we will check into the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and spend one night.
Day 18: Final departure
We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful time in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
