Marshyangdi River Rafting

Marshyangdi River Rafting combines some of the most exciting rapids in the world with views of some of the most beautiful mountain in the Himalayas. The rivers flow east through an arid valley around Manang and then swings south to the join the Trisuli River at Mugling where the scenery is breathtaking. You can also enjoy watching many kinds of colourful birds, including the kingfisher and, if you are lucky, you may even see rhinos and tigers that come to the river bank to drink water. You can experience the thrills of white-water on the course of the three-day trip and you can face some small rapids with the magnificent beauty of nature, mountains and mostly serene surrounding. The whole excursion is four days of continuous adventure walking through villages, blending with the local people, and riding a succession of rapid down the river. The best time for the trip is from March to April and from November to December.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu Valley

When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu there will a representative from our company to meet you. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, hear additional information about the trip, and have dinner.

Day 02: Drive to Khudi

If the hotel is able to prepare breakfast we will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will travel the scenic Prithvi highway where we will enjoy short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. An 8-hour drive from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Khudi, check in at the hotel, explore around the valley, stay overnight.

Day 03: River Rafting

Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will drive towards the river rafting. This day is an enjoyable scenic float from Turture to Bimalnagar with no rapids to tackle. At the time of rafting, we will have an opportunity to see the kingfisher birds near the bank of the river and spend one night in this beautiful place.

Day 04: Drive Back to Kathmandu

We will back to Kathmandu valley from the same route where we move towards Khudi. At the time of this drive, we will have our lunch on the way and slowly drive to Kathmandu valley. After reaching Kathmandu, we will check in at the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and spend one night.

Day 05: Final Departure 

We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful time in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
