Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is a unique and adventurous trekking destination in the Himalayan part of Nepal, located northwest from the capital city of Kathmandu. It is fully a camping trek that has everything to offer you, including an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. This trek gives visitors an opportunity to observe the rich Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarters and intermingle with the local people. Trekking in this region, you will have an opportunity to explore views of its exotic flora and fauna, especially during the spring season. This is one of the most underrated trek routes in the country. Trekkers with limited time for vacations can choose this package because it can be completed within a short period of the time. On the way to the trekking, the trekkers pass through a series of waterfalls, beautiful villagess, terraced farmlands, rhododendron forests, and amazing panoramic views of the mountains. The trek begins from Barpark after 10 hours drive from the Kathmandu Valley. The trek also passes through a wide range of several villages along the way with diverse ethnicities and geographical attractions including sacred mountains and the highest lake in the world. This is a spectacular retreat that matches the amazing beauty of nature with a taste of the unique local culture that makes your journey so fulfilling. The region presents you with a lost culture of the forbidden lands of the past and has remained unchanged by outside cultures for centuries. We can see the uniqueness of tree-less landscapes, rocky trails, and the wonderful views of the mountain. Trekkers need to obtain special trekking permit to trek in this area because it is restricted by the Nepal government. The best season for trekking is from February to April and from September to December.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu there will a representative from our company to meet you. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, hear additional information about the trip, and have dinner.
Day 02: Drive to Barpak (2000m)
The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast then will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will enjoy short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. After an 8- to 9-hour drive from the Kathmandu Valley, we will reach Barpak, check in at the hotel, explore all around the valley, and spend overnight.
Day 03: Trek to Laprak (2200m) 6-7 hrs
We will walk from Barpak to Laprak through the mountains in an easterly direction into the main valley of the Budhi Gandaki River.
Day 04: Trek to Khorlabeshi (875m) 7-8 hrs
After a peaceful night in Laprak we will walk towards Khorlabeshi. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountains. After 7 to 8 hours we will reach Khorlabeshi where we will spend one night.
Day 05: Trekto Jagat (1410m) 6 hrs
We will leave behind the terraces of the village along with forests, ferns and woodlands. We will pass through several small villages and a few temples on the way before reaching Jagat where we will spend one night.
Day 06: Trek to Philim (1,590m) 3hrs
The trail gradually goes upwards and the valleys slowly widen as the trails reach Ghatta Khola. We will pass through a lush forest of rhododendron, beautiful landscapes, and suspension bridges before reaching Philim where we will spend one night.
Day 07: Trek to Chumling (2363m) 6-7 hours
From Philim, we will move toward Chumling. There will be a climb over a rocky ridge to Salleri, and then a descent to Setibas. The trail then goes up and down through forest and high cliffs, before we reach to Chumling where we will spend one night.
Day 08: Trek to Chokhangparo (3010m) 5-6 hours
The trail climbs pass through fir forests and then follows the river for a time amongst the higher oak and maple trees. On the way, we will have an opportunity to explore amonastery and have some lunch before moving towards Chokhangparo where we will spend one night.
Day 09: Trek to Nile (3361m) 6-7 hours
While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see wonderful views of the mountains and beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Nile where we will spend one night.
Day 10: Trek to Bhajyo (4030m) 4 hours
We will leave behind the terraces of the village, forest, ferns and woodland. We will pass through several small villages and a few temples on the way before reach in Bhajyo village where we will spend one night.
Day 11: Rest at Bhajyo
This day is for rest. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore Bhajyo. We will have an opportunity to explore villages which will improve our physical and mental makeup for further trekking.
Day 12: Trek to Rachen Gompa (3240m) 6 hrs
Today we will make our way to the foot of the pass to Rachen Gompa. After a short ascent up the mountain path on the river bank, we will follow a narrow trail across an unstable scree slope, and then we will reach Rachen Gompa. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Rachen Gompa where we will spend one night.
Day 13: Trek to Chumje (3230m) 5-6hrs
This day we will have an opportunity to see the magnificent views of the mountains while crossing the pass. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Chumje where we will spend one night.
Day 14: Trek to Bihi (3130m) 4-5hrs
The trail continues through Bihi where there are well-paved villages. We will cross various Mani walls and have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way and then move towards Bihi where we will spend one night.
Day 15: Trekto Namrung (2540m) 6 hrs
The trail leads us along a level path through a glacial valley which heads due north. We will have an opportunity to see wonderful views of the mountains and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the route and then move towards Namrung where we will spend one night.
Day 16: Trek to Lho (3180m) 4 hrs
On this day, we will continue our trek towards the colorful vegetation and fantastic scenery of the glaciers. On the route, we will have our lunch and thenmove towards Lho where we will spend one night.
Day 17: Trek to Samagaon (3530m) 5-6 hrs
Today we will enter the most beautiful village on the entire trip. The trail drops and crosses the side valley of Simnang Himal with Ganesh Himal always close by. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, have our lunch on the way, and then move towards Samagaon where we will spend one night.
Day 18: Trek to Samdo (3860m) 4-5 hrs
The day starts with a gentle climb. We will pass through a lush forest of rhododendron, oak, and we will have an opportunity to see animals such as Langur, red panda, and Himalayan black bears before reaching Samdo where we will spend one night.
Day 19: Trek to High Camp (4460m) 5 hrs
Leaving Samdo, the trail climbs a steep ridge that affords good views of the High Camp. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountains. We will have our lunch on the way and then we will move towards High Camp where we will spend one night.
Day 20: Trekto Bimthang (3,590m) 7- 8 hours
The path makes a final steep ascent to the pass, then descends steeply and enters Bimthang. We will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful valley of this route. We will pass through the lush forest, a beautiful valley, and get an opportunity to see more wonderful views of the mountains.
Day 21: Rest day at Bimthang
This day is for rest. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then we will explore all around Samagaon. We will have an opportunity to spend some time in the lands which will improve our physical and mental makeup for further trekking.
Day 22: Trek to Dharapani (1860m) 6-7 hrs
It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Dharapani from Bimthang. The trail from the Bimthang descends until it reaches the river and then continues through the lush forest. We will spend one night in Dharapani.
Day 23: Trekto Ghermu (1100m) 7 hrs
Upon having a hot breakfast, we will move towards Ghermu. We will cross many suspension bridges and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way then after move towards Ghermu where we will spend one night.
Day 24: Trek to Besisahar (800m) 4 hrs
Today is the last day trekking in the Manaslu Tsum Valley. We will walk from Ghermu to Besisahar. The trail leads upwards through terraced lands with rice fields that seem impossibly green. It is an enjoyable day.
Day 25: Drive to Kathmandu
We will head back to the Kathmandu Valley on the same route we used earlier heading towards Besisahar Valley. We will have our lunch on the way. After reaching Kathmandu, we will check into the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and spend one night in this wonderful valley.
Day 26: Final departure
We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful time in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
