Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek

Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is a unique and adventurous trekking destination in the Himalayan part of Nepal which is located in the north-west from the capital city of Nepal Kathmandu valley. It is a fully camping trek that has everything to offers you which is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. This trek gives visitors an opportunity to observe the rich Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarter and intermingle with the local people. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

When you will land in the international airport in Kathmandu then there will one person from our company to take-off you. You will directly drive towards the hotel to check out. At night you will meet your guide and counsel about the trip. And have our dinner.

Day 02: Drive to Barpak (2000m)

The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast then will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will enjoy shortstops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. 8 to 9 hours drive from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Barpak and we will check out the hotel and explore all around the valley and back to the hotel and spend overnight.

Day 03: Trekking to Laprak (2200m) 6-7 hrs

This is the first-day walking trekking in the Manaslu Tsum valley trek where we will walk from Barpak to Laprak. We trek through the mountains in an easterly direction into the main valley of the Budhi Gandaki River.

Day 04: Trekking to Khorlabeshi (875m) 7-8 hrs

A peaceful night in Laprak and we will slowly walk towards Khorlabeshi. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountain. After 7 to 8 hours to reach Khorlabeshi from Laprak where we will spend one night.

Day 05: Trekking to Jagat (1410m) 6 hrs

The terrace of the village and hit forest, ferns and woodland we will leave behind. We will also pass through several small villages and a few temples on the way before reach in Jagat where we will spend one night.

Day 06: Trekking to Philim (1,590m) 3hrs

The trail then gradually goes upwards and the valleys slowly widen as the trails reach Ghatta Khola. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, beautiful landscapes, and suspension bridges before reaching Philim where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Trekking to Chumling (2363m) 6-7 hours

From Philim, we will slowly move towards Chumling. Climb over a rocky ridge to Salleri, and then descends to Setibas. The trail then goes ups and downs through forest and high cliffs, and then we reach to Chumling where we will spend one night in this beautiful region.

Day 08: Trekking to Chokhangparo (3010m) 5-6 hours

The trail climbs pass through in and fir forest and then follows the river for a time amongst the higher oak and maple tree. On the way, we have an opportunity to explore monastery and have some lunch and move towards Chokhangparo where we will spend one night.

Day 09: Trekking to Nile (3361m) 6-7 hours

While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Nile where we will spend one night in this wonderful land.

Day 10: Trekking to Bhajyo (4030m) 4 hours

The terrace of the village and hit forest, ferns and woodland we will leave behind. We will also pass through several small villages and a few temples on the way before reach in Bhajyo village where we will spend one night.

Day 11: Rest at Bhajyo

This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around Bhajyo. At this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the lands which feel better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey.

Day 12: Trekking to Rachen Gompa (3240m) 6 hrs

Today we will make our way to the foot of the pass to Rachen Gompa. A short ascent up the mountain path on the river bank we will follow a narrow trail across an unstable scree slope and then we will reach Rachen Gompa. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Rachen Gompa where we will spend one night.

Day 13: Trekking to Chumje (3230m) 5-6hrs

This day will have an opportunity to see the incredible magnificent views of the mountain while climbing or crossing the pass. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Chumje where we will spend one night.

Day 14: Trekking to Bihi (3130m) 4-5hrs

The trail continues through Bihi where there are well-paved villages. We will cross various Mani walls. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, and have our lunch on the way and slowly move towards Bihi where we will spend one night.

Day 15: Trekking to Namrung (2540m) 6 hrs

The trail which leads us along the level path through a glacial valley which heads due north and there is no trail as such. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain and beautiful landscapes. On the route, we will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Namrung where we will spend one night.

Day 16: Trekking to Lho (3180m) 4 hrs

On this day, we will continue our trek towards the colorful vegetations and fantastic scenery of the glacier. On the route, we will have our lunch and slowly move towards Lho where we will spend one night.

Day 17: Trekking to Samagaon (3530m) 5-6 hrs

Today we will enter the most beautiful village on the entire trip. The trail drops and crosses the side valley of Simnang Himal with Ganesh Himal always close by. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain and have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Samagaon where we will spend one night.

Day 18: Trekking to Samdo (3860m) 4-5 hrs

The day starts with a gentle climb. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, oak, and we will have an opportunity to see the animals like Langur, red panda, and Himalayan black bears etch before reaching Samdo where we will spend one night.

Day 19: Trekking to High Camp (4460m) 5 hrs

Leaving Samdo, the trail climbs the steep ridge that affords good views of the High Camp. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountain. We will have our lunch on the way and then we will slowly move towards High Camp where we will spend one night.

Day 20: Trekking to Bimthang (3,590m) 7- 8 hours

The path makes a final steep ascent to the pass and the trail descends steeply and enters Bimthang. We will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful valley of the route. We will pass through the lush forest, a beautiful valley, and get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain.    

Day 21: Rest day at Bimthang

This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around Samagaon. At this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the lands which feel better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey.

Day 22: Trekking to Dharapani (1860m) 6-7 hrs

It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Dharapani from Bimthang. The trail from the Bimthang descends until it reaches the river and then continues through the lush forest. And we will spend one night in Dharapani.

Day 23: Trekking to Ghermu (1100m) 7 hrs

Upon having a hot breakfast, we will slowly move towards Ghermu. At the time of trekking, we will cross many suspension bridges and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly move towards Ghermu where we will spend one night.

Day 24: Trekking to Besisahar (800m) 4 hrs

Today is the last day walking trekking in Manaslu Tsum valley trek where we will walk from Ghermu to Besisahar. The trail leads upwards through terraces lands with rice fields that seem impossible green. It is an enjoyable day in preparation for our further destinations to come.

Day 25: Drive to Kathmandu

We will back to Kathmandu valley from the same route where we move towards Besisahar valley. At the time of this drive, we will have our lunch on the way and slowly drive to Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar and spend one night in this wonderful valley.

Day 26: Final departure
