Lobuche Peak Climbing is one of the most famous trekking peaks, located in the eastern part of Nepal in the Everest region. It is rewarding to experience the extreme adventure of technical climbing along with memorable trekking through the Sherpa landscape and spectacular Himalayan views. We will have an opportunity to learn about culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Sherpa people.
This is considered one of the most popular and easiest climbing peaks in Nepal. The river, stream, waterfalls, green forest, and the chances of encountering wild animals on the trail make this trip more exciting. For climbing this peak, it isn’t compulsory to have formal climbing training or to be well-experienced in climbing. While you do not need previous experience, the climbing teams need to be prepared mentally as well as physically for the adventurous climbing.The natural and cultural panorama of the trekking along with the ascent up to the base camp and Kala Patthar keeps the climbers physically fit.
Lobuche Peak Climbing is one of the best for climbing steep snow and ice slopes using fixed ropes and access to the summit overlooking Lobuche and the Khumbu Glacier. This amazing peak climbing will give you a remarkable sense of achievement standing on the top of a wonderful mountain peak. During the trek, we will pass through the Tengboche village where the world renowned Tengboche Monastery, an ideal work of art, is located. We will enter the Sagarmatha National Park which is also known as the home of many rare birds and animals. During the trek, we will have wonderful views of Mt Everest, Mt Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and many others. This is a great option if you are an experienced trekker and looking for a tougher challenging in the beautiful Himalayas. The best time for trekking is from March to May and from September to December.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu
When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu there will be a representative from our company to meet you. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, hear additional information about the trip, and have dinner.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,800m) then Trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3 – 4 hrs
After having breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to the airport to take a scenic flight towards Lukla, also known as the Gateway to the Everest Region. From Lukla, we will start our trekking on foot. We will walk towards Phakding where we will spend one night.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5 – 6 hrs
The trail follows an ascent through Himalayan pine and cedar forests. We will have an opportunity to see wonderful views of Mt Everest,the highest mountain in the world. On the route, we will have our lunch and then move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night.
Day 04: Rest Day in Namche Bazaar
This day is for the rest day. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast and then after we will explore all around the Namche Bazaar. We will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which may help provide the mental stamina for further trekking.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3,870m) 5 – 6 hrs
Today on a trail to an even higher elevation and the main attractions is monastery situated at the highest altitude in the world. We will have a wonderful view of the beautiful landscape of this route and spend one night.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5 – 6 hrs
The trail descends and passes through a lush forest of birch. On the route, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain and beautiful landscape. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Dingboche where we will spend one night.
Day 07: Rest day in Dingboche
This day is for the rest day. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast and then we will explore all around the Dingboche. On this day, we will explore villages at a relaxed pace.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4940 m) 5 – 6 hrs
The trail passes through the spectacular views of the mountain and a lush forest of rhododendron. The land becomes drier and vegetation is more sparse as wetravel to Lobuche where we will spend one night.
Day 09: Trek to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) 6 – 7 hrs
There is a lot of meandering on rough terrains and this is the last settlement along the route. We can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountains and beautiful landscapes. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Gorak Shep where we will spend one night.
Day 10: Trek to Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Lobuche (4940m) 7 – 8 hrs
In the early morning, we will start our trek towards Kala Patthar. After crossing the Kala Patthar, we will head back down to Lobuche. On the way, we will have a wonderful views. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Lobuche where we will spend an overnight.
Day 11: Trekto High Camp (5,400m) 3 – 4 hrs
We will mostly climb along the rocky moraines to reach the High Camp. The training will also include using ropes to go up down. You may also walk around for some time which will help in altitude acclimation. There will be wonderful views of the mountains and beautiful landscapes.
Day 12: Summit High Camp (6119m) and back to High Camp 8 – 10 hrs
The steep ascent of the trail crossing paths require technical guidelines to climb the High Climb. The climbing surfaces as well as the length of the rope and depends on the time of the season and the crevasses. After reaching the Summit High Camp, we will walk back to High Camp where we will spend one night.
Day 13: Trek to Pangboche (3930m) 8 – 9 hrs
This will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of the trek; the ascent is demanding, but the climber gets magnificent mountain views. We will walk on a fairly steep trail at a comfortable pace. We will have our lunch on the way and then afterwards we will move towards Pangboche where we will spend one night.
Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar 4 – 5 hrs
This day’s trekking trail goes slightly uphill to Namche Bazaar. We will have an opportunity to explore this beautiful valley on the route. We will pass through lush forest, a beautiful valley, and have opportunities to see wonderful views of the mountains.
Day 15: Trek to Lukla 6 – 7 hrs
This is the last day of trekking in the Everest region where we will walk from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The trail passes through pine, oak, and rhododendron forest. We will also pass through many suspension bridges before reaching Lukla where we will spend one night.
Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu
In the morning, if the hotel is able to make breakfast we will have our breakfast and head to the local airport of Lukla to fly to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmanud, we will check into the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and spend one night in this wonderful valley.
Day 17: Final departure
We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful time in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
