Lobuche Peak Climbing

Lobuche Peak Climbing is one of the famous trekking peaks in the Himalayan country in Nepal. It is located in the eastern part of Nepal in the Everest region. This is a reward to experience to the extreme adventure of technical climbing along with a memorable trekking through the Sherpa landscape, spectacular Himalayan views and flora and fauna. We will have an opportunity to know about the Sherpa people and we will have an opportunity to know about the culture, traditions, and the lifestyle of the Sherpa people. This is considered one of the most popular and easiest climbing peaks in Nepal. Peak climbing in this route is one of the beautiful peaks located in the Everest region and very near to another popular trekking peak. The river, stream, waterfalls, green forest, and the chances of encountering wild animals on the trail make our trip more exciting. For climbing this peak, it doesn’t compulsory to have a formal climbing training or well-experienced climbing training. The natural and cultural panorama of the trekking along with it does ascend up to the base camp and Kala Patthar keeps the climbers physically fit and fine. For climbing the peak you do not have previous experiences however the climbing teams need to be prepared mentally as well as physically for the adventurous climbing.

Lobuche Peak Climbing is a technical trekking peak in the Khumbu region which is a reward to experience the extreme adventure of technical climbing along with memorable trekking through Sherpa village. It is one of the best for climbing steep snow and ice slopes using fix ropes and access to the summit overlooking Lobuche and the Khumbu Glacier. This amazing peak climbing will give you a remarkable sense of achievement standing on the top wonderful mountain peaks. For climbing the peak you do not have previous experiences however the climbing teams need to be prepared mentally as well as physically for the adventurous climbing. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the Tengboche village which is very popular about having the word renowned Tengboche Monastery with an idea work of art. We will enter the Sagarmatha national park which is also known for the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna. During the time of the trekking, we will have wonderful views of the mountain which includes Mt Everest, Mt Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and many other mountains of this route. This is a great option if you are an experienced trekker and looking for a tougher challenging in the beautiful Himalayas. For the trekking, the perfect time also needed and the perfect season for trekking March to May and September to December.

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,800m) then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hrs

Day 03: Trekking to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hrs

Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar

Day 05: Trekking to Tengboche (3,870m) 5- 6 hrs

Day 06: Trekking to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5-6 hrs

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu

When you will land in the international airport in Kathmandu then there will one person from our company to take-off you. You will directly drive towards the hotel to check out. At night you will meet your guide and counsel about the trip. And have our dinner.      

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2,800m) then trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3-4 hrs

Having breakfast in the hotel, we will slowly drive towards the airport to a scenic fly towards Lukla which is also known as the gateway of the Everest region. From Lukla, we will start our trekking on foot. We will slowly walk towards Phakding where we will spend one night.

Day 03: Trekking to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hrs

The trail follows ascending through Himalayan pine and cedar forests. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain which is one of the highest mountains in the world Mt Everest. On the route, we will have our lunch and slowly move towards Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night.

Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar

This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around the Namche Bazaar. At this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which feels better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey.

Day 05: Trekking to Tengboche (3,870m) 5- 6 hrs

Today on a trail to an even higher elevation and the main attractions is monastery situated at the highest altitude in the world. We will have a wonderful view of the mountain beautiful landscape of this route and spend one night.

Day 06: Trekking to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5-6 hrs

Our trail descends and passes through the lush forest of birch. On the route, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, and beautiful landscape. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Dingboche where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Rest day in Dingboche

This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around the Dingboche. At this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which feels better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey.

Day 08: Trekking to Lobuche (4940 m) 5-6 hrs

The trail passes through the spectacular views of the mountain, the lush forest of rhododendron. The land becomes drier and vegetations spare as you travel to Lobuche where we will spend one night.

Day 09: Trekking to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) 6-7 hrs

There is also a lot of meandering on rough terrains and this is the last settlement along the route. We can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Gorak Shep where we will spend one night.

Day 10: Trekking to Kala Patthar (5545m) and back to Lobuche (4940m) 7-8 hrs

In the early morning, we will start our trekking towards Kala Patthar. Today we will cross Kala Patthar. After crossing the Kala Patthar, we will back down to Lobuche. On the way, we will have a wonderful view of the mountain and beautiful landscape. It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Lobuche where we will spend overnight.

Day 11: Trekking to High Camp (5,400m) 3-4 hrs

We will mostly climb along the rocky moraines to reach the High Camp. The training will also include using ropes to go up down. You can also walk around for some time that would also help in acclimations. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain and beautiful landscapes.

Day 12:  Summit High Camp (6119m) and back to High Camp 8-10 hrs

The steep ascends trail crossing paths that require technical guidelines and climb the High Climb. The climbing surfaces as well as the length of the rope and depends on the time of the season and the crevasses. After completing the summit High Camp, we will walk back to High camp where we will spend one night.

Day 13: Trekking to Pangboche (3930m) 8-9 hrs

This will be one of the most difficulties yet rewarding days of the trek and the ascent is demanding but the climber gets the magnificent mountain views. We will walk on a fairly steep trail at a comfortable pace. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Pangboche where we will spend one night.

Day 14: Trekking to Namche Bazaar 4-5 hrs

This day trekking trail slightly goes uphill to Namche Bazaar. We will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful valley of the route. We will pass through the lush forest, a beautiful valley, and get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain.

Day 15: Trekking to Lukla 6-7 hrs

This is the last-day trekking in the Everest region where we will walk from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The trail passes through pine, oak, and rhododendron forest. We will also pass through many suspension bridges before reaching Lukla where we will spend one night.

Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu

In the morning, if the hotel is able to make breakfast then we will have our breakfast and slowly move towards the local airport of Lukla to fly towards Kathmandu valley. Upon reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar and spend one night in this wonderful valley.

Day 17: Final departure
