Khoprak Lake Trek

Khoprak Lake Trek is one of the most beautiful and adventurous trekking routes in Nepal which is newly opened trekking route in the Annapurna region. This is one of the awesome rural trekking trails in the Annapurna region of Nepal. In the route, we will have a wonderful opportunity to experience to experience Nepali village, local people and their way of living a traditional life in the Himalayan part of Nepal. It is quite easy and shorter trek then other high altitude treks in Nepal. The destinations remain untouched and unique as the trails are not as famous as others in the western region. The trek offers you the breathtaking mountain views and wonderful mountain scenery. While doing the trekking in this wonderful land, we will have a wonderful view of the mountain and beautiful landscapes and we will have an opportunity to know closely about the Gurung people who are mostly engaged in Britain soldier. And Gurung is also known for the brave Gorkhas. We will have an opportunity to know about the culture, tradition, and the lifestyle of the Gurung people who are the local inhabitant of this wonderful land. We will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak forest on the way at the time of trekking in this wonderful land.

Khoprak Lake Trek begins from Pokhara city which is also known for the city of the Lake and also known for the home of mountains. The beauty of this trekking is the key attractions as it follows the quite trails away from the popular and busy routes passing through the traditional villages and lush forest. It is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that meander through the beautiful ethnic villages of Annapurna region. The trek is the perfect one for you which offers easy walk on the first day of the trek. The trek offers one of the majestic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountains of this route. We have to a chance to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area which is well known as the home of many rare animals, birds, flora, and fauna. Trekking in this region is without a doubt one of the world’s most wonderful destinations which are perfect for the nature lover. The trek is the perfect one for you which offers easy walk on the first day of the trek. Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu there will be a representative from our company to meet you. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, hear additional information about the trip, and have dinner.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara

The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast then will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will have a scenic Prithvi highway where we will enjoy shortstops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. 6 hours drive from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Pokhara and we will check out the hotel and explore all around the valley and back to the hotel and spend overnight.

Day 03: Trek to Ghandruk (1730m) 6-7hrs

It is easy trekking by descending gently all the way through oak, rhododendron, and other kinds of dense forest to Ghandhruk. We will have our lunch on the way then after taking some rest and slowly move towards Ghandruk where we will spend one night.

Day 04: Trekto Tadapani (2,590m) 3-4 hrs

At this day trek, we will walk throughout the beautiful Gurung villages. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain which can be seen from this wonderful route.

Day 05: Trek to Bayli Kharka (3450m) 7 hrs

The path is filling with rhododendron and bamboo forest before reaching Bayli Kharka. We will have our lunch on the way then after taking some rest in that hotel where we have done our lunch then after we will slowly move towards Bayli Kharka and spend overnight.

Day 06: Trek to Upper Chistibung (2975m) 4 hours

We descend the stone step and cross the bridges above Bayli Kharka and. We will have our lunch on the way then after slowly towards Upper Chistibung where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Trek to Khopra Ridge (3,660m) 3-4 hrs

Leaving Upper Chistibung, the trail climbs the steep ridge that affords good views of the Khopra Ridge. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountain. This is the largest district.

Day 08: Rest Day in Khopra Ridge

This day is for the rest day that’s why we don’t start our trekking. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast then after we will explore all around the Khopra Ridge. At this day, we will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which feels better and mental makeup for further trekking or journey.

Day 09: Trek to Swanta Village (2,200m) 5-6 hrs

It takes almost 5 to 6 hours to reach Swanta Village from Khopra Ridge. The trail from the Khopra Ridge descends until it reaches the river and then continues through the lush forest. And we will spend one night in Swanta Village.

Day 10: Trek to Ghorepani (2880m) 5 hrs

While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Ghorepani where we will spend one night in this wonderful land.

Day 11: Trek to Poon Hill, and Back to Thikedhungha 5-6 hrs

In the early morning around 4 o clocks, we will start our trekking towards Poon Hill where we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the sunrise view. Not only the sunrise view from here we will have a wonderful view of the Mountain View also. After Mountain View, we will back to the hotel and have our breakfast and slowly move towards Thikedhunga where we will spend one night.

Day 12: Drive to Pokhara

Today is the last day of walking in this wonderful journey where we will walk from Thikedhunga to Naya Pul. We will have our lunch on Naya Pul and from the Naya Pul; we will drive towards Pokhara city where we will spend one night.

Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu

We will back to Kathmandu valley from the same route where we move towards Pokhara valley. At the time of this drive, we will have our lunch on the way and slowly drive to Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar and spend one night in this wonderful valley.

Day 14: Final Departure

We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful time in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
