Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is perfect for all the age group people but you have good health for trekking. This most popular trekking begins from Pokhara valley is also known as the city of the lake because the city is surrounded by the Lake. The trail maintains through patchwork valleys, dense mossy past icy waterfalls. There is a unique please of trekking in Annapurna foothills along with the charming settlements of ethnic communities of Nepal. The trekking into the region is full of excitements and surprise and an astonishing array of natural variety and beauty with dense forests of rhododendron. This trekking offers unique Gurung culture to expose and experiences with it. There are various types of culture and traditions which may make your holidays more exciting and wonderful. The trek offers one of the majestic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountains of this route. We have to a chance to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area which is well known as the home of many rare animals, birds, flora, and fauna. Mostly Gurung people are found in this area and the people are influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. For the trekking, the perfect time also needed and the perfect season for trekking February to June and September to November. We use the mountain lodges referred to as the teahouse for our feedings and accommodations.

Day 05: Trekking to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2540m) 5-6 hour
Day 06: Trekking to Ghandhruk (1940m) 2-3 hours
Day 07: Trekking to Birethanti (1065m) and drive to Pokhara 3-5 hours
Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu
Day 09: Final Departure

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
When you will land in the international airport in Kathmandu.  there will be one person from our company to pick you up. You will be taken directly to your hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide and review your  trip and have dinner.      

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 6-7 hour
The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast then will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will have a scenic Prithvi highway where we will enjoy shortstops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. 6 hours drive from Kathmandu valley, we will reach Pokhara and we will check out the hotel and explore all around the valley and back to the hotel and spend overnight.
Day 03: Trekking to Tikhedhunga (1540m) 3-4 hours
Journey to Ghorepani Poon hill begins from today a short drive towards Naya Pul. And after reach in Naya Pul, we will take some rest and have our breakfast and slowly move towards Tikhedhunga. Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans and the trail reaches a small village Sudami and we will have our lunch in this beautiful place then slowly move towards Tikhedhunga where we will spend one night.

Day 04: Trekking to Ghorepani (2775m) 4-6 hours
While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Ghorepani where we will spend one night in this wonderful land.

Day 05: Trekking to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2540m) 5-6 hour
In the early morning around 4 o clocks, we will start our trekking towards Poon Hill where we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the sunrise view. Not only the sunrise view from here we will have a wonderful view of the Mountain View also. After Mountain View, we will back to the hotel and have our breakfast and slowly move towards Tadapani where we will spend one night.

Day 06: Trekking to Ghandhruk (1940m) 2-3 hours
The trekking trail descends steeply through rhododendron forest to Baise Kharka where you can encounter monkeys and wide the variety of birds. It is easy trekking by descending gently all the way through oak, rhododendron, and other kinds of dense forest to Ghandhruk where we will spend one night.

Day 07: Trekking to Birethanti (1065m) and drive to Pokhara 3-5 hours
Today is the last day of walking in this wonderful journey where we will walk from Ghandhruk to Birethanti. We will have our lunch on Naya Pul and from the Naya Pul; we will drive towards Pokhara city where we will spend one night.

Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu
We will back to Kathmandu valley from the same route where we move towards Pokhara valley. At the time of this drive, we will have our lunch on the way and slowly drive to Kathmandu valley. After reach in Kathmandu valley, first of all, we will check out the hotel and spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar and spend one night in this wonderful valley.

Day 09: Final Departure
