Chisopani Nagarkot Trek is the most popular route for short trekking in Nepal. This trail is an awe-inspiring trail which winds around beautifully settled villages, remote views of snow-capped Himalayas, and a very warm and friendly group of people from the different ethnic group. Trekking this route offers you an off-the-beaten-track experience in a recently developed route with beautiful mountain views. We will enjoy a trek through a charming village, terraced fields, and a peaceful environment where we meet few trekkers. Chisopani Nagarkot Trek is an easy trekking route which is done in a remote part of Nepal. The trek begins from Sundarijal after a 1-hour scenic drive from Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the most enjoyed treks among the guests who was an enjoyable experience within a brief period. This short route is very much suited to those trekkers who don’t have enough time to explore, but they have the desire to see wonderful scenery. This region offers an opportunity to explore ethnic villages, the oldest monasteries, a small peak, and glacier all at comfortably low elevations. During the trek, there will be opportunities to learn about the culture, tradition, and lifestyle of the Newar people who are the local inhabitants of this location. The trek passes through pristine countryside and flora and fauna, as well as yak pastures. The best time for trekking is from February to June and from September to November.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

When you land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu then there will a representative from our company to pick you up. You will directly drive to the hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, receive information about the trip, and have dinner.      

Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal and then trek to Chisapani

If the hotel is able to make a hot breakfast then we will have our breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. After a 1-hour drive from the Kathmandu Valley, we will have our lunch and then slowly move towards Chisapani where we will spend one night.

Day 03: Hike to Nagarkot

As we head to the hill of Nagarkot, the views of the Himalayas are dazzling.   where we will spend one night.

Day 04: Drive to Changunarayan and back to Kathmandu

Early in the morning after having breakfast, and following the darkness of night, the happy visitor will witness a great sunrise view with its awe-inspiring majesty and beauty.  We will slowly drive towards Changunarayan, enjoying an incredible view, which makes you feel that you are in a different world. After reaching Changunarayan, we will have our lunch and slowly drive towards the Kathmandu Valley where we will spend one night.

Day 05: Final departure

We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful stay in our small country. We will also be hoping that this will not the last chance to serve you.
