Trekking is one of the most popular activities which can be done within the territory of the hidden part of Nepal.  The Arun Valley Trek is a non-touristy trekking trail, located in the eastern part of Nepal. It is a full camping trek, blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. This trek gives visitors an opportunity to observe the rich Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarters and intermingle with the local people. Trekking in this region, you will have an opportunity to explore the exotic views of its flora and fauna, especially during the spring season. This is one of the most underrated trek routes in the country. This trail also leads you through unfamiliar regions, where you are face-to-face with the people. The upper reaches of the trail resemble towering polished granite cliffs capped by hanging glaciers and overflowing with waterfalls. While trekking this route, you have a good opportunity to interact with the culture and traditions that have been preserved and untouched for centuries. This lake trek gives a taste of the natural wilderness and its silences. We will also be enjoying the magnificent views of the great mountains. Traveling through the remote trails of western mid-hills, you get to explore the rural culture, traditions lifestyle, and the incredible biodiversity of the region.

Arun Valley Trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the eastern part of Himalayan Nepal. You will experience diverse vegetation in just single day that ranges from sub-tropical to alpine. The trail mostly travels through the remote and isolated land where the trekkers will be beyond the human settlements for several days. The entire trek is an off-the-beaten-trail with combined community home-stay and monastery overnight as well as shopping treks through the local, traditional walking trails in Nepal. The route also passes through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak, beautiful landscapes, and wonderful mountain views of this region. The trek begins from Tumlingtar after a 50-minute flight from the Kathmandu valley.
