Annapurna Circuit Trek

Annapurna Circuit Trek is also known as the classical Himalayan trek because of cultural verities, mesmerizing landscapes, snow-capped high mountains, and different types of flora and fauna. This circuit trek is one of the most popular treks in the world and it passes through many Himalayan villages in both the  Marsyangdi and Kali Gandaki Valleys. The trek takes us to Manang, Jomsom, and the Muktinath region includes diverse Nepalese landscapes and culture and a wide variety of the natural amusements that Nepal has to offer. Trekkers with limited time for vacations can choose this package because within a short period of the time we can complete this wonderful trekking. On the way to the Annapurna Camp, the trekkers pass through a series of waterfalls, beautiful villages of various types, terraced farmlands, rhododendron forests, and amazing panoramic views of the mountains. On the route, we will have a wonderful opportunity to experience Nepali village life, including meeting the local people and their way of living a traditional life in the Himalayan part of Nepal.

Annapurna Circuit Trek is an epic circuit loved by trekkers all over the world.  It begins from Pokhara, also known as the City of the Lake. The trek also travels through several villages along the way with ethnicities and diverse cultural attractions including sacred mountains and the highest lake in the world. The trek offers one of the most majestic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountains on this route. It is an easier and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Nepal. Trekking in this region is without a doubt one of the world’s most wonderful destinations which are perfect for the nature lover. The trek is the perfect one for you which offers easy walk on the first day of the trek. It is an area of spectacular scenery, trekking through charming village inhabitant by the Gurung’s. We have to a chance to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area which is well known as the home of many rare animals, birds, and a range of flora. The best times for trekking are from February to June and from September to November.

Day 05: Treksto Pisang (3,300m) 5 – 6 hours

Day 06: Trek to Manang 6 – 7 hours

Day 07: Rest day in Manang

Day 08: Tres to Yak Kharka (4,110m) 3 – 4 hours

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu

When you land in the international airport in Kathmandu.  there will be one person from our company to pick you up. You will be taken directly to your hotel to check in. At night you will meet your guide, review your trip and have dinner.      

Day 02: Drive to Jagat (1,300m) 6 – 7 hours

The very next morning, if the hotel is able to prepare breakfast  you will have  breakfast in the hotel and if not we will have our breakfast on the way. We will have a scenic drive on Prithvi Highway where we will enjoy short stops for lunch and to enjoy scenic beauty.  It is an 8-hour drive from Kathmandu Valley; we will reach Khudi, check into the hotel, and then explore all around the valley.

Day 03: Trek to Dharapani (1,960m) 7-8 hours

It takes 7 to 8 hours to reach Dharapani from Jagat. The trail from  Jagat descends until it reaches the river and then continues through the lush forest. We will spend one night in Dharapani.

Day 04: Trek to Chame (2,710m) 5 – 6 hours

We will walk through a few forested ridges on our way to Chame. This place is also known as the headquarters of the Manang District. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly move towards Chame where we will spend one night.

Day 05: Trek to Pisang (3,300m) 5 – 6 hours

The trails follow a steep and narrow river village winding through deep woodland. Continue walking on this route, you come to a long Mani (Prayers) Wall  by a bridge and the lower village of Pisang.

Day 06: Trek to Manang 6 – 7 hours

Leaving Pisang, the trail climbs the steep ridge that affords good views of the Manang valley. The trail guarantees excellent views of the beautiful landscapes and the mighty mountain.

Day 07: Rest day in Manang

This day is for the rest day. Early in the morning after wake up, we will have our breakfast and then we will explore all around the Manang Valley. We will explore villages and get an opportunity to spend some time in the monastery which prepares you mentally and physically  for further trekking on journey.

Day 08: Trek to Yak Kharka (4,110m) 3 – 4 hours

From Manang village, the trail follows to the trail towards Yak Kharka where we have to cross a stream,  then climb to the village of Tenki, and continue to climb out of the Marshyangdhi Valley turning northwest up the valley of Jarsang Khola.

Day 09: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,600m) 3 – 4 hours

Today we will make our way to the foot of the pass of Thorong Phedi. A short ascent up the mountain path on the river bank we will then follow a narrow trail across an unstable screed slope and then we will reach Thorong Phedi. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Thorong Phedi where we will spend one night.

Day 10: Trek to Muktinath (3,800m) 7 – 8 hours

This day we will have an opportunity to see the incredible, magnificent views of the mountain while climbing or crossing the pass. It takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach Muktinath where we will spend one night.

Day 11: Trekking to Marpha (2,670m) 4 – 5 hours

The trail today is quite beautiful as we trek along a plateau above the Kali Gandaki River which is also known as the world’s deepest gorge. We will have our lunch on the way and then after we will slowly move towards Marpha where we will spend one night.

Day 12: Trek to Kalopani (2,530 m) 5 – 6 hours

The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the mountain and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way and then after taking some rest, slowly move towards Kalopani where we will spend one night in this beautiful land.

Day 13: Trek to Tatopani (1,200m) 6 – 7 hours

Beyond a pasture used by pony caravans, the trail reaches the small, beautiful village of Dana where we will have our lunch, then slowly move towards Tatopani. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Tatopani and spend one night.

Day 14: Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m) 7 – 8 hours

While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the Annapurna Range and beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Ghorepani where we will spend the night.

Day 15: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,700m) 6 – 7 hours

In the early morning around 5 o clock, we will start our trekking towards Poon Hill where we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the sunrise. We will enjoy the Mountain View also. After Mountain View,  we will go back to the hotel and have our breakfast and slowly move towards Tadapani where we will spend one night.

Day 16:  Trek to Pokhara (827m) 5 – 6 hours

Today is the last day of walking where we will walk from Tadapani to Naya Pul. We will have our lunch in Naya Pul and from the Naya Pul we will drive by jeep to Pokhara city where we will spend one night.

Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu

We will head back to Kathmandu valley on the same route we used to reach the Pokhara Valley.  We will have our lunch on the way and slowly drive to the Kathmandu Valley. After reaching Kathmandu,we will check into the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and stay one night in this wonderful valley.

Day 18: Final departure

We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful day in our small country. Your safe journey and adventurous days in Nepal will be memories, but we will be hoping that this will not be the last chance to serve you.
