Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the classic trails in the famed Annapurna region which offer you an easy walking journey in the wonderful area of northwest Nepal. In the route, we will have a wonderful opportunity to experience life in a Nepali village–the local people and their way of living a traditional life in the Himalayan part of Nepal. It is an easer and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Nepal. Trekking in this region is without a doubt one of the world’s most wonderful adventures, perfect for any nature lover. It proves to be a popular tourist destination that provides a Mecca of magnificent snow-capped mountains, sweeping glaciers, and a natural paradise with a wide variety of people from many different ethnic groups. At the time of trekking, we will pass through some of the most stunning scenery in the world. It is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that meander through the beautiful ethnic villages inhabited by the Gurungs of the Annapurna region. The trek is the perfect one for you which offers easy walk on the first day of the trek. The trek is perfect for people all age groups and and is suitable as a family trek as well.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes you through the scenic villages of Ghandruk and Chhomrong Gurung. The trek also offers a wide range of several villages along the way with ethnicities and diverse geographical attractions including sacred mountains and the highest lake in the world. This is a spectacular retreat that combines the amazing beauty of nature with a taste of the unique local culture that makes your journey so wholesome. The trek combines pristine natural scenery of the rhododendron forest and incredible Himalayan views on the backdrop. This popular trek begins from Pokhara Valley, also known as the City of the Lake. The trek offers one of the most majestic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountains of this route. We have to a chance to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area which is well known as the home of many rare animals, birds, and native flora. For the trek the best times are from February to June and from September to November. We use mountain lodges referred to as the “teahouses” for our meals and accommodations.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
When you land in the international airport in Kathmandu. there will be one person from our company there to pick you up. You be will taken directly to your hotel to check. At night you will meet your guide, have dinner and review your trip.
Day 02: Fly to Pokhara (827m), trek to Ghandruk (1940m) 5 – 6 hours
In the early morning, we will go to Tribhuvan International Airport to fly to the wonderful Land of the Lake. Upon landing in this wonderful city, we will drive to Naya Pul and have our lunch. Next we will slowly move towards Ghandruk which is one of the largest Gurung village and where we will spend one night.
Day 03: Trek to Chhomrong (2170m) 5 – 6 hours
This day is the first day of the walking trek of the Annapurna Base Camp. We will work through nice terraces to Landruk, a beautiful Gurung village providing you an excellent view. From Landruk , the trail continues to Jhinu. We will have a wonderful view of the mountain and suspension bridges before reaching Chhomrong where we will spend one night.
Day 04: Trek to Bamboo (2310m) 4 – 5 hours
We will descend the stone steps and cross the bridges above Chhomrong Khola. We will have our lunch on the way and then after move slowly towards Bamboo where we will spend one night.
Day 05: Trek to Deurali (3230m) 3 – 4 hours
The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the mountains and beautiful landscapes. We will have our lunch on the way, and then after taking some rest, slowly move towards Deurali where we will spend one night in this beautiful land.
Day 06: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) 5- 6 hours
Early in the morning after having breakfast, we will slowly move towards Annapurna Base Camp. We will have wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful village, and many suspension bridges before reaching Annapurna Base Camp where we will spend one night.
Day 07: Trek to Bamboo 7 – 8 hours
While doing this day trek, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain and beautiful villages. We will cross many suspension bridges before reaching Bamboo where we will spend one night in this wonderful land.
Day 08: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1760m) 5 – 6 hours
The village also rewards us with other majestic views of the snow-capped peak range. We will have our lunch on the way and then after taking some rest, slowly move towards Jhuni Danda where we will spend one night.
Day 09: Trekking to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara 6 hours
Today is the last day of walking on this wonderful journey; we will walk from Jhinu Danda to Naya Pul. We will have our lunch on Naya Pul and from there we will drive towards the city of Pokhara where we will spend one night.
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu
We will head back to the Kathmandu Valley on the same route we came. During the time on this drive, we will have our lunch and then slowly drive to the Kathmandu Valley. After reaching Kathmandu, we will check into the hotel, spend some time around the Thamel Bazaar, and spend one night in this wonderful valley.
Day 11: Final Departure
We will drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport with the hope that you have had a wonderful day in our small country. We hope you will have great memories of your safe journey of beautiful and adventurous days in Nepal. We also hope that this will not be the last chance to serve you.
